Happy New Year!
Well, things are moving fast around here! We still haven't found jobs, but we have ALMOST got Colton into school. We are just waiting on the school to get some things done so we can enroll him. Which will hopefully happen this week. We got to go to Chino last week to spend some time with my family, and my brother Jordan, who is going to be a Marine! Also, we got to go to the PHX Zoo this weekend with Nikki and Cj! (Which is why I put the song At the Zoo by Simon and Garfunkel on here. That one is all for my dad!!!) It was way fun, and then we went to see the last showing of the Zoo Lights! Scott and Marlo came too. We had lots of fun with them. And there was a squirrel, and Colton fed it sunflower seeds! I think you aren't Supposed to feed the animals, but hey, it was fun!

Also, we just got called to teach CTR 5 in primary. Colton is not exactly thrilled, but each class gets a little better so far as we learn what we are doing. Last week we went on a Treasure Hunt, and that was quite successful. Then on Monday my parents came down for my dad's follow up appointment after the knee surgery he had in November, after his accident. They released him for work and he doesn't have to wear the knee braces anymore! He is walking pretty good, just using a cane for stability. A whole month earlier than scheduled! What a blessing. They stayed the night with us on Monday and on Tuesday morning we all went to the temple together. It was a really nice week. I would say we have had a pretty good start to the New Year! Which brings me to the New Years Resolutions! I have 2, one short term and one long term. The first one, is quite cliche, but, here goes: Get back into shape in 12 weeks! I know, I know...but hey, there has to be one of those, right? Anyway, my dad gave me an exercise ball and workout dvd, and I LOVE it! So I made myself a goal, and I am sticking to it! And my long term goal is to take more pictures! I am a horrible picture taker, I bring the camera with me everywhere I go, yet somehow, there are never any pictures to look at. So now that I have realized that the camera isn't going to take its own pictures, I am going to try to do better! So Happy New Year Everyone (even if it is a few weeks late)!
