Ok so I haven't updated my blog in QUITE a while, and there are a few people who keep giving me hints that it needs to be done, so here we go! Colton loved his job in Safford, but in November the price of Copper went down fast, and he got laid off. Fortunately, our landlord let us out of our lease, and we moved to Mesa, AZ, and are now living in a house that his parents own with his older brother, Heath, and his friend, Eliseo. Shortly after moving to Mesa we got Colton a pitbull puppy, who he names Darken.
Also in November was my 21st birthday! I wasn't able to spend it with my parents very much, my dad was in the hospital after his accident, but his family was all down here and we had a really good time. We went to the park, everyone brought the dogs and we had lunch. Taia made me an awesome cakethat was pink had had bubbles all over it, with a martini glass on top! Then I got to open presents! Everyone got me really nice gifts, some clothes, necklaces, some games, but my FAVORITE gift was from Colton! He got me a puppy too! She is a dachshund/chihuahua mix, and she is one of Dafnee's puppies (Marlo's Dachshund). I named her Martini (since I got her on my 21st) and she is so cute! I had been eyeing her since the first time I saw her. So needless to say, we got 2 puppies in 1 week, but we love them both SO much!
So we are still looking for jobs, but we are thankful for all the blessings we have. We are working on getting Colton enrolled in school for his EMT and we are grateful to be able to finally get him started on his career. Life is wonderful and we have wonderful families! Happy Holidays!
